One Small Step is the first film created on the Digital Bolex D16, shot via its prototype in 2011. One Small Step premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2012 with additional screenings at the Montgomery International Film Festival and the Alabama Black Film Festival. Wardrobe and costume were provided for the entire cast, including hand-crafted items such as Destiny's camouflage, space-suit, pajamas and her teddy bear Charlie.
